FAQ'S

WHAT IS THE FIT BLUEPRINT?
A series of tests that measures your physical fitness level. It assesses these four components: body composition, functional movement, aerobic capacity, muscular endurance and strength.

WHAT IS A FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT SCREEN (FMS)?

An assessment evaluating your balance, core strength, flexibility, and coordination.

WHAT DOES THE BODY COMPOSITION CONSIST OF?

Your Blood Pressure, Body Circumference measurements, along with an Inbody Reveiw of your Weight, Metabolism, and much more.

WHAT IS A HEART RATE TRAINING TEST?

A cardiorespiratory test on a treadmill, bike, or rowing machine.  It progressively increases intensity until you feel fatigued and have to stop the test. A heart rate monitor will be around the chest or arm to monitor the intensity during the exam. This test provides further insight into which heart rate zone to train you at to help reduce fat or increase muscle performance.

WHAT IS A MUSCULAR ENDURANCE AND STRENGTH TEST?

A muscular endurance test will be conducted through bodyweight exercises (i.e. push ups, squats, pull ups) to understand the endurance of your arm and leg muscles.  The muscular strength test will be conducted on weight machines or with a barbell. We will determine the strongest value of weight you can push or pull with your arms and legs through various exercises such as the chest press, deadlift, and more.

WHY DO YOU RECOMMEND THE FIT BLUEPRINT?

It's a blueprint assessment for your physical health. It will help you understand why muscle mass and body fat mass are more important than just your weight. We evaluate how you can improve your balance or core, and break down your heart rate training zones to have a safe and smart plan for your exercise routines. Schedule your appointment now.
